"It's fine." He said, a small shy smile on his face. "Really?" He asked stupidly, of course really. "Um, that's good, er, interesting." He said, not really sure what to say. "To be honest I'm not that nervous." He said, hoping he didn't sound aloof or anything. "It's just, I tend not to get nervous because it's so much harder at home." He said, automatically pointing to the cuts on his cheeks. That was when he realised what he'd just said. Damn! He thought as his face turned an odd shade off burgundy with embarrassment. Maybe she didn't hear him???
