"And I think the more confidence you have in your spell casting abilities, and the more comfortable with a spell you are, the more you'll be able to just use it on instinct without any hesitations. I'm sure if we practice a bit before we go there, that'll help with the nerves." At least that was how Adam felt...he practiced a spell until it was like a second nature to him...although he hoped that this year he would be able to get down the hang of casting without speaking. That was definitely a skill that he wanted to acquire.
Adam looked at Louisa with a little smile as she bent down in front of JB. Not to Adam's surprise the puppy jumped up on it's hind legs, pointing towards a collar that seemed to be the perfect blend of red and blue. "I think he likes this one," said Adam, pulling down the collar and holding it out. JB liked it, which Adam assumed meant he liked it. "I guess we just need to find the right size..."
He'd help her? "
That'd be great. I wonder who's going to teach us the subject this year, though. Last year was a disaster and even I found it ridiculous." She chuckled shaking her head, "
You know, Lord Borr was supposed to teach us the subject but he said he was too busy to make classes so instead he gave us a list of things to do. By things I mean running, swimming, hiking and other crazy stupid stuff," Pffft. She may not be excellent at DADA but those things were absolutely irrelevant to the subject. Well, not absolutely but most likely.
Seeing the collar JB had picked, Louisa started moving through sizes, examining them while the dog bounced in front of her. She giggled, "
He can't stay still. I think it'll be our first challenge to teach him how to do that," Kneeling on the ground and trying to put the collar around the dog's head, "
People might complain about his excitement, I guess. Joy killers." There were a lot of those people and Louisa didn't want JB to be shut down by others.
...wait, it wasn't her dog. She shouldn't start acting all obsessed about him.
The collar fit and the girl took it out and gave it to Adam, "
It fit. Let's pick a leash and dishes," She moved on to another aisle.
