Adam set the dog down so that he could walk by himself. To Adam's pleasure the dog stayed right by him and Louisa, his walk more like a bounce than anything else. Adam had to say he was glad that he would be having someone around that would have an optimistic outlook on things. Adam returned his gaze to Louisa as she started to speak, thanking him for agreeing to go to Knockturn Alley with. Adam gave her a smile as she reached back and took hold of his hand, locking their fingers. Adam was about to start thinking about the gesture, but then he decided against it. What did it matter what people thought of them holding hands? And instead of over analyzing perhaps Adam should just enjoy the feel of her hand.

"Of course. You seem pretty set that it's something that you want to do, and if you feel that strongly about it, then I back your decision one hundred percent." Even if that situation was highly dangerous and could possibly get them killed...Well, everyone had to go somehow, right?

Adam gave a little nod of the head as Louisa asked if they could carve the name into the color themselves. "Sure! That sounds more personal than having it professionally done," Adam said, stopping in front of the long rows of different collar choices. Woah. Who knew there were so many options. "Maybe it would be best to decide on a color and then go from there," Adam said, not sure whether or not Louisa felt as overwhelmed by all the selections as he did.
