Determined not to be embarrassed again or let her Pops last memory of her be of her failing, Aspen tried again - with much better results.The trunk still wobbled precariously towards tipping, but it was high enough in the air that Aspen could put a hand on it and direct it to where it needed to go.

"Is that cheating?" she wondered aloud. Pushing the trunk into place after lifting with magic? Half cheating? ...he wasn't going to make her do it again, right...?

...Aspen didn't KNOW what to think of the curtsying little girl ... so.. .she just sort of smiled, too.
