Amy walked, pushing her trolley over to the wall. Her dad was going to say goodbye to her now, and all of a sudden, she didn't really want to go to Hogwarts, she hated this bit. In her first year, they'd even brought Noah in his little buggy to make sure she was okay, and she understood why she had to go on alone. But it still sucked. She'd been going through the wall on her own since her third year, but it was still lonely. Her dad checked his emails once more, ignoring his daughter, who had stopped moving and was tapping her shoes impatiently. For once could you not put that away and notice me! She burst out, folding her arms. Her father looked up at her, raising an eyebrow what did you just say? he asked deadly

Woops. Backtrack. Sorry, it's just, I want to go and you need to get back to mum she said, looking to the floor and trying to keep the bitterness out of her tone. Her father again put away the blasted phone and looked at his daughter, who was still short, with her loooooonnnnng hair falling over her shoulders and the slightly vunerable look she had. He pulled her into a hug and stroked her hair, this was the last time they'd see each other for a year. She wasn't coming home at christmas. That had been decided last night.

Okay then, sweetheart he said, stepping away from her, though she continued to look at the floor, he lifted up her chin, cheer up sweetie, he said with a smile, before taking her phone from her pocket, not allowing it to blow up with the magic that surrounded it. Here you go, he said, passing her a package, open it when you arrive he nodded, before giving her a slight shove. She looked up. Bye dad, she said with a smile, before giving him a hug.

And then she turned, and ran through the wall.
