That's what Noah disliked about most people, they didn't observe as much as he did. He also seemed to remember a lot of things, like what a person was wearing last Tuesday. It wasn't so much as important to them, but it still showed how he could be observant. "How long have you been waiting here for?" he asked the girl. Maybe she should give up and move onto another ride. Brooklyn dug her heel in the dirt, making a little hole in the ground because well.. she was bored. And what else was there to do? Well.. besides talking to the man.. So, she turned her full attention back on him.
"Well, then.. Go ahead. You're quite welcome to go and speak your mind. I, on the other hand, will stay here." The girl giggled some more, watching the line move slightly because a few kids had gotten of line. YES. She was grateful for any movement whatsoever and the man probably was too. After following the line move, she re-dug a little hole in the ground. Why? It was FUN. Merlin, she wished she had her water balloons. Now that would make things much more fun.
"How long?" he repeated his question as her mind began wandering. "Well, not all that long. Probably ten minutes before you showed up? Something like that." Sadly, that was the worst part about carnivals. There were never signs telling you the wait time. Which was aggravating.
