Well, he didn't complain of course, no at all, smiled as he put her hands on her waist too. He would like to stay like that a bit more but she pulled away too soon. Yeah, she was still in that process.
Chuckling at Jwaw again, he also heard his father's chuckle. It was one of their entertainment; the foreign people who mispronnounced their names. And this time he wasn't even going to correct her, because she told him she wanted him to teach her... so he would. Alone. In a room. Hehe. "I'm fine too," he said, taking another step back to get the angle to introduce his father when the woman made a sudden move. It was clear as sun that she was annoyed by this hug of Louisa. As far as he knew, she wasn't even a relative of Louisa--oh, she was the guardian. Well. He could see why she got too excited then upon seeing Louisa hug a boy, even though she was perfectly of age to do such things. "Pleasure to meet you, Senhora Stewart,"he said politely, accompanied with a smile. "I'm João Neves, and he is my father, Fabio Melo," he said, a hand showing his father. Senhor Melo smiled at the scene that unfolded in front of his eyes. His son had told him about this girl, but he only said she was a friend. He could see they both felt more for each other. Well, he also knew it was a matter of time his son had a girlfriend. He was attractive enough. "Pleasure to meet you, madam," he said, holding out a hand to shake. Then, looking at Louisa, he smiled again. "Hello," he greeted her. He believed in the youth, so he was extra careful to pay them enough attention and respect. "I believe we should be heading towards the platform," he said, checking his watch. "But I also fail to see any platform 9 3/4." In the other countries, they were of course disguised from the unwanted eyes, but not this much... maybe it was also like the entrance of Diagon Alley again? Marina shook this João hand and nodded once before turning her attention to the father, "Pleasure to meet you both, gentlemen," Greeting both by the same titles since the boy didn't seem like a young boy- he had attitude. Rather polite and good one, too. Good. Although that Dallin boy she'd met earlier was less sophisticated and more cool.
Louisa almost rolled her eyes at Marina's formal introduction but João's father made her blush a bit when he greeted her. She didn't know whether to bow or just go with the shaking hands thing, " Hello, sir," better leave it like this. And when he announced that they should get going... "I think we should," She agreed with the father and her wonders about those both; they were foreigners. Okay, it was settled then Louisa shouldn't hang out with this foreigner. "We should head toward this wall, mister Neves." She smiled at the man and inclined her head toward the wall between the 9th and 10th platforms. "You can follow us," She wasn't going to join them but she could do it for them.
" No!" She said too quickly, giving her guardian a meaningful look, " I can show them. Don't you remember what we agreed upon?" That you were not to escort me to the train by hand like a twelve years old and leave me alone! Turning her head to João, she smiled at him " Let's do it together," Remember the time she needed to get over Dallin? Well, it wasn't working out. She wanted to move on with João even if her head kept bringing Dallin up. Maybe when she spends a lot of time with João, Dallin will eventually disappear. They could hold hands, too, that'd drive Marina cr- "Just a minute, dear." Marina grabbed the girl's elbow and dragged her away with a stern look on her face, "Listen, Louisa, I'm not going to go through that wall for you but I need you to do this for me, okay?" She looked into the girl's eyes sincerely and saw that Louisa was not going to listen, but she had to say it, "Please don't just move from a boy to another. If you don't like this one, don't make him think you do. Okay?" Louisa's eyes moved to stare at the Neves boy why she listened to Marina, "You don't want him to like you and then discover that you just used him as a distraction." The young woman said the last words slowly and softly. The boy seemed strong enough and very clever but Louisa might get herself into something big and that'd just ruin her somehow. " Have a nice trip," Marina stepped away then and smiled at the gentlemen, "Good bye," She called out to them.
Louisa didn't answer Marina and hoped that her face expressions were as blank as she wanted them to be. Walking toward João, again, she tried to put a smile on her face but only managed a grimace. Was she really using João as a distraction? She hadn't thought of it that way. Not ever. And to prove it, she held his hand, " Let's do this." Yes, she liked holding his hand. And it wasn't like holding Dallin's or Adam's. It was different.
