Blending in with Muggles was easy for Maddy, apart from her owl Jinx who was hooting crazily because of all the noise, not many muggles carried owls arround with them and she was worried one of them would notice. "Sssshh Jinx, your gonna make one of them notice us" Maddy. When Maddy and her family got to the platform, her brother instantly ran through the wall to meet his friends on the other side. "Bye" he called back. "Remember to write" said their mother . "Listen Maddy, you don't have to go" she said, "you have lots of friends and great grades at Horkridge Elementery". "I'll be fine" protested Maddy "I have to learn how to control these weird things that I'm making happen". Her mother was a muggle, and was still a little bewildered about the whole thing. Her father was a wizard. "She's a witch Tianna" he said "she needs to go". "Bye mom" said Maddy as she turned away, grabbing her fathers arm and headed over to the platform. "I'll be back in a few minutes" he called to his wife. "Just run at it and you'll be fine" he reassured Maddy, "we'll go togeather". "So it's not gonna hurt" stated Maddy. "It'll be a breeze" her father replied. Then they ran twards the platform, Maddy winced and braced herself for impact as they crossed through the wall. But she felt nouthing, she opened her eyes. They had made it, to platform 9 3/4.[/COLOR]
