Emily staggered into the common room, her arms loaded with books. She really wished the library was closer. The walks were killing her!
She could feel her arms about to give way when “Need a hand?”

The small, Gryffindor girl took some of her books, helping to lighten the load. Together they carried them over to the armchairs.
“Thanks.”
“Oohh! You’re reading about dragons? That sounds interesting!” the girl said staring at the pile.
“Actually I’ve read that one. Want to borrow it?”
“Yeah, thanks! I’m Nika Adler.”
“Emily Smith” They shook hands. This was the start of a brilliant friendship.
