He asked as he made light strokes to fill in the clear blue color of the wings, followed by the green in the inner parts where the body met the wings. A dash of light orange completed the picture. He leaned back for a moment and eyed his work. Hm, magic was definitely useful. It looked professionally done.

He held the smile to himself as he reached forward and tapped the brush lightly and in random patterns along the wings to give them an iridescent look.

Finally, he picked up his wand and winked at the girl. "Might feel a little tingle here." He murmured a spell and watched as the wings fluttered.

He held up the mirror for her to see the final product.
