Or maybe it just sounded fast because she was saying a lot when all he really expected was two words? He scratched his head. "What kinda potion was it?" He wanted one!
"Uhh, nope, I'm all right. Thanks, though," he smiled crookedly. Oh wait? If he was hurt, then she'd make him a potion? Like a dizzy potion? He better find out how trustworthy this clumsy girl was before he took a potion of hers, though. Maybe. Actually, on second thought, he didn't care. Paulie decided to ask later, if he remembered.
Something on her arm caught his eye; it was partly covered, but he could tell that it was a tattoo. Or maybe a couple? He wasn't sure. His eyes jumped back to her. It was interesting, hearing about why people had tattoos or the stories behind them, and all that, but that was sorta a personal question to be asking before you even know someone's name, so he asked a boring question instead. "So, uh, what's your name, then? I'm Paulie Foster."
That is one thing he did like about himself: the name.
What kind of potion was it? A predictable question, that was. Too bad she had to think of more lies now. "
Umm... put some rat's bogies in it... kitty cat whiskers... fizzing whizballs..." She racked her brain to think of more possible potion ingredients, but as she did so, her brain began to ache. "
Some other stuff, too.. It turned green and fizzy and I drank it." Yea, in reality, would she have drunk it? Hellllll-to-the-NO.
Ainsley giggled. "
I was only jokin', silly." She thwacked him playfully on the arm, without realizing she did it at first. "
Oh, sorry." Shoot. She made up for it by rubbing his arm all better.
The brunette watched as his eyes wandered to her arms and guessed that it was something to do with her tattoos. They were sacred whenever it came to schooling so the fact that he could see them was a bad thing! Then again, maybe he was just looking at something behind her arm, so she didn't mention it. "
Hullo, Paulie Foster. I'm Ainsley. Ainsley Piper." She didn't like telling people her full name on a first meeting, but if he was going to then fiiiinneeee..
Ainsley frowned, then tutted to herself. "
My head hurts." She felt dizzy, but not because of the fake potion, but because of the fall she had just 'recovered' from. Looks like she hadn't fully recovered, and she fell to the floor again. Not badly, just so she was sitting. "
I think I have concussion." Maybe a bit dramatic.
