"You went out with him? You were his girlfriend?" Mordred said almost laughing as he broke away from Rose's hug--totally forgetting about it. "How terrible was he? What did he do this time?" he asked. He never witnessed his cousins woo a girl, so he doesn't have any idea what it takes to be a terrible boyfriend.
He then approached one of the stalls selling an over-sized wizard's hat. He never wore their pointed school hat, but the one he spotted was way too cool to not at least try on. He got it off the table and wore it, but the hat was too big that it literally engulfed his head. Pulling it off his face, "So, Rose --if you went out with William, then it means that somehow--you were attracted to him. Right?" he asked totally being ignorant about those things. To him, it was all logic.
'Yes... he cheated on me... kissed another girl who he started going out with after.' Rose scowled thinking about it. 'He was also WAY possesive, he didn't like it when I went off with my friends and expected me to be with him 24/7...' Rose rolled her eyes.
Then Mordred said something about atttraction? 'Somehow, I guess. Don't ask me what to, I'll never know.' Rose grinned. 'I usually prefer boys with dark hair, not blondies.' Rose laughed. 'Why?' Rose asked.

Rose burst out laughing. 'Thank you...' Rose whispered to him. It was nice to know someone was on her side. 'Y'know, most Slytherins have been pretty horrid to me. I like you, Mordred, you don't seem to care if I'm a Muggleborn!' Rose smiled. 'You don't do you?' Rose asked worried.
