He didn't think Mia was scared of heights. He was sure that, if she was, she would not have picked the ferris wheel to go on first. Actually, he didn't think she would want to go on it at all. That was just a ridiculous thought. Her question brought a smile to his face and he gave her hand a squeeze. "Of course you can." Like she needed to ask. "But what if you're not scared?"
Could he still comfort her?
Or maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea. Not with the next question she asked him. He trailed his eyes up to the top of the ferris once again and.. he was just going to avoid answering her. "Merlin. I bet if you look down from the very top, you won't even be able to see the people on the ground."
Mia raised her eyebrows at him. She was gonna grab hold of that tongue if he poked it out at her again. Cheeky bugger that he was.
Well of course she wasn't going to be scared. They had travelled in an airplane last year and she'd had her face planted against the window almost the whole trip. It had been so exciting. Nik on the other hand...well she best keep that to herself. Mia didn't think he could take anymore of her spilling his secrets.
"You can still cuddle me." And a snog or two wouldn't go astray either.
Pfft...he was so avoiding her question. He would pay for that.
"They'll look like ants I bet." Yeah she would play along until later when she would make him do something that he wouldn't normally do. She remembered passing a face painting stall.

"Sure am." She gave Nik's hand a squeeze.
"Can you stop the wheel when our carriage gets to the top?" Because that would be just so romantic, wouldn't it?
Pfft...Mia just wanted to be able to look at the view.
