Feathery Thingywhatsit | BookSnake Searching for another addition to the little package Sinead was making for Brighid, the first year found herself at Madame Pimpernelle’s. Her mother bought make-up here, and sometimes gifts. The make-up counter looked promising, but Sinead had no idea what colors Brighid would like, and she remembered that her sister swore by Muggle make-up brands with silly named like “Soreal”. As for herself, Sinead did not see the appeal of make-up of any variety; it was a pointless expense. Her mother and sister would laugh at her when she voiced this opinion, patting her head and say she’d understand when she was a teenager. Maybe she would, but for now she decided to ditch the make-up idea and look at the other products.
This aisle smelled incredible, much better than the Apothecary or Eyelops or even Quality Quidditch. Scents of ripe fruits and hints of Butterbeer wafted around as Sinead picked up bottles of shampoos and conditioners and lotions. After plenty of internal debate, Sinead settled on a bottle of melon body lotion. |
