The dark haired woman stepped closer to his desk and cut to the chase, ”I hope this isn’t a bad time. I would not normally show up unannounced, but I am at a bit of a dead end and need your assistance.” Medea hated that her job currently depended on other people doing their jobs. Most people were unreliable and at least 5 department heads were proving her point. "As well as can be expected," Alexander remarked. After all, this was the Wwizarding world, the best place to expect the unexpected. He closed the door behind them and then headed to the opposite side of his desk. As he listened to her talk, he turned and pushed some files into a cabinet behind him. Then he turned and gave Medea his full attention. "No, no, the time is just fine. After all, here at the Ministry of Magic there's no such thing as downtime," he said. "If we all waited for the right time, we might just be waiting forever, hmm?" Again, he raised an eyebrow. "My assistance?" he asked. Ward never needed assistance, so his curiously got the best of him. "Alright then. What can I do?"
