25. Sorting Hat--1st Year--

Simon still wasn't quite sure how this was going to work and the voice coming from the hat wasn't offering much confidence.

"Loyal to those he cares about...quite intelligent and bookish. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw would both fit.”

Hufflepuff did cover most of his family including his older brother, Simon’s eyes briefly glancing in the direction where Jonathan sat. The eleven year old wasn’t really looking for being chosen for any one house. Though deep down following in his brother’s footsteps was not his favorite choice.

“Ah but your bravery shines above all else. Must be….”
