His throat had swollen up, he felt like vomiting and he couldn't stop shaking. "M-Mom.." he choked out into the room, followed by a violent cough that shook his insides. Then, he passed out.
Three hours later, Kingsley woke up to find himself in a hospital bed in St Mungo's. "W-Where am I?" the boy asked.
Two pairs of grown up arms went around the boy, "You know that milkshake you had, son?" his dad began. "It turns out you're allergic to milk."
At that age, Kingsley didn't understand what that meant. He was just happy he was alive and that the nasty illness hadn't killed him.
