Get the Witch- Kill the others.

The Death Eater crumpled to the ground as Jamie spun round. Alicia was turning away from him, her eyes a glowing red while short black hair framed her livid face. He sighed slightly- she was past furious now.

“Jamie! Have you seen Rosalie or Edward? I can’t find them!” Sophie said in a frantic voice as she ducked past him. He heard the furious sound from Alicia’s direction but didn’t turn.

“No- I’ll help you look, mum,” he said, reaching for her hand but Sophie shook her head quickly.

"No, sweetheart, stay and lookout for Alicia,” she ordered gently as she stared at her only son. “Keep her safe- even from herself.” They split as the sound of crying reached Jamie’s ears. He turned and spotted Emily in the corner, Draco motionless next to her.

“Tonks, please watch Alicia for me!” Jamie said quickly, grabbing the woman’s wrist.

“Of course!” she said in a confused voice, her eyes moving over the fighters quickly. Jamie raced towards Emily, jumping the small pond. He skidded and dropped next to Draco, his fingers fumbling to find a pulse.

“Emily, he’s okay! He’s alive! We’ve got to move!” he said, heaving Draco over his shoulders and getting to his feet. Emily didn’t move. “Right... Stay here, I’ll be right back!” he said before running towards the back door. He took the stairs two at a time and then stopped dead as the sound of begging sounded down the corridor.

“Please... Please...” Rosalie’s terrified voice was coming from Alicia’s room. Jamie left Draco on Emmett’s bed, closing the door behind him as he crept down the hallway. As he stepped into the room, things seemed to move in slow motion. Rosalie was cornered beside the bed, the Death Eater pointing a wand at her with his back to the door. Rosalie’s eyes locked on Jamie’s face as a tear ran down her cheek. Then, the room was filled with a blinding green light, casting long shadows up the white walls. Rosalie fell across the bed.

“NO!” Jamie yelled, running forwards. The Death Eater turned to see Jamie knock into him, sending them both crashing through the window. Several people shouted as the two fell towards the ground within a shower of glass. Jamie felt the glass cut his arms and face.

“Are you all right, son?” Sean asked anxiously as Jamie struggled to his feet, shaking glass out of his hair. He saw Alicia stumble away from a Death Eater, bent double as if in pain.

“Yeah... Couple of bruises... EDWARD!” he yelled, ignoring the searing pain from his cheek. He watched as the five year old crawled towards Emily. A Death Eater jumped forwards to try and grab him but Emily had all ready wrapped him in her arms. Then, the Death Eaters vanished.

“They were called back- the Marks burned.” he turned to see Alicia gripping Sophie’s arm tightly. “They’re in trouble,” she explained, edging forwards. Sophie surrendered Alicia to Jamie and went to sort out Emily and Edward.

“Mum, Draco’s upstairs in the first bedroom- he’s been hit with something I think...” Jamie said, frowning as he watched Alicia’s face. “Ali, what is it?”

“Nothing... I’m fine... Where’s Rose?” She glanced up to see pain shoot across Jamie’s face. “Where is she, Jamie?” she said, letting go of his arm.

“Your room...” he whispered as she limped away from him, disappearing into the house.

“Jamie, Alicia’s mum wouldn’t leave the house with Aunt Sophie- a spell hit the living room window where she was hiding, smashing the window... She got hit...” Jamie nodded once to show Bill that he had heard him before following after Alicia, who he found sitting fully clothed in the shower, which was pumping hot water down towards her.

“I know... I heard Bill...” she said over the sound of the water hitting the clear glass door and the heavy rain hitting the window behind Jamie. She had an arm wrapped round her torso tightly while blood swirled with the water round her feet. “What am I supposed to do, Jamie? Let him kill everyone I know and love until he gets his own way? What if you’re next? Or Emily? What do I do then?”

“Continue to fight... Don’t let him win, Alicia,” he whispered, resting his head against the door, staring in at her.

“He all ready has, Jamie! Don’t you see that? He’s taking over- my life is nothing but him! Our future- him!” she said, un- wrapping her arm and hitting the tiled floor with her fist, leaving a bloody print, which slowly faded with the water. “He controls all the pain we have to live through- this- ” She pointed to a dark stain on the side of her white dress. Jamie stared at it, horrified. “I can live through- I can think around it... But not the pain in here!” She put her fist over her heart as Jamie switched the water off and pulled open the door. “I’ll never get over this.”

“Time will help, Ali... Come on, we’ve got to get to The Burrow...” he said, wrapping a towel round her waist, over the wound. “Are you going to tell me what happened?”

“When you crashed through the window, a Death Eater I’d just disarmed decided to grab a piece of glass and stab me...” she said, shrugging as Jamie un- hooked one of the bath robes to wrap round her. “I thought the shower would help burn away the pain...” she whispered as Jamie led her downstairs.
