Dallin shrugged, smirking a bit at her reaction. His had been very similar when he found out how long the plane ride would be. "It's across the ocean," he reminded her. Trying to imagine the feeling of a portkey as Ellie explained it, Dal nodded. It didn't sound too wonderful. What if he got dizzy and got sick when he landed at Ellie's? That would be embarrassing. Very. "Landing?" he repeated, cocking one eyebrow. The way she said it sounded... ominous.
Ah, the ocean. It was pretty big... Ellie shrugged. Apparently ten hours was just too long for someone who was used to potkeys.
"Wow." Was all Ellie could say. She felt kinda bad for Dallin, having to sit on a plane for ten hours, flying over an ocean. Ellie had a sudden wonder as to how many planes crashed. In the ocean. But she quickly pushed that thought aside. She'd rather not think of that. Ellie laughed at his comment.
"Hey, maybe you will!" As long as it wasn't some weirdo, that would be cool.
"Yeah, it takes some practice." She said, remembering all the times she landed on her stomach or her butt.
"It's kind of hard to tell when it'll stop, but you can sort of feel yourself going down... And you have to just put your feet down quick or you'll land on your stomach." She said, pursing her lips. It was sort of hard to explain, but he'd find out soon enough.
