The struggling came and Orlando's heart dampened. The small hope he had conjured - vanishing. He stepped away, unlike Legend. He did not want to make her repeat her words. It was an order, so he followed it.
When Legend began to speak, Orlando though shocked - at his sudden change of words - remained quite. KT was more close to Legend, anyway. The whole thing had started cause of what Legend had done. Orlando had just added fuel to the fire. When he stopped, holding KT still - Orlando took a step back, picking Koala up - who was trying to jump near the compartment's window, in hopes of looking outside - and placed him on the seat.
"It is your decision, in the end, KT." he spoke up, letting his eyes stop on her face. "I, for one, cannot stop fighting for your friendship. I cannot allow you to give everything up." Orlando said, in no mood to step back from his original plan. "I have been friends with you for six years now and in all this time, I have come to respect you a lot. But your decision to create distance between us - I cannot respect. I love you, KT. I have loved you for a long time now .. so don't expect me to just walk away because you think it's okay to walk away!" He could be wrong. Legend had known KT for longer, of course. So maybe Orlando's tactics were wrong but that was how he truly felt. He would not pretend and hide it.
