Danny Boy is right. If you were one of the lucky few who got early entrance by finding the Magic Quill, you WILL get your welcome email. The Pottermore site does say that it will take time for everyone to get their emails because remember this is a Beta site and they don't want 1 million people going in at the same time because that will most definitely "crash" the site. Pottermore does have from August 7th until September 30th to send out the emails. I know that everyone is anxious to get theirs....so am I...but sitting around waiting for the email is not going to make it come any sooner. Just make sure that when you check your emails that you also check your spam/junk folder just in case it mysteriously ended up there.

As of now, I have not heard of anyone getting any welcome emails yet....but please correct me if I'm wrong. I did check the Pottermore site a couple of minutes ago and the Sign On window is gone. So that could be an indication that they are getting the site ready and they don't want people trying to log in and bogging down the system while they are working on it.

I'm sure if SS knows of anything they will keep us informed. Until then, just hang in there. The wait will be worth it.
