As far as I know, you need certain incantations to make it work.” he said with an excited tone.
She nodded enthusiastically,
"Yes, yes of course!" she said, imagining the havoc that she could reek with certain concoctions.

"No!!! No you can't do that!!!!!!" she said,
"We have to get rid of him..." Aurora pondered the ways...
"If only he wasn't the minister..." she was sure, if she was to use her favourite methods, this fact would get her
and everyone else involved arrested.

Mordred felt good about looking silly for once. It was the first time he loosened up since he had a very busy year, studying DADA on his own.
Aurora was almost glad they hadn't started eating yet - she would have spit everything out when she started laughing.
"Oh Mordred, what has happened to you this year?" he'd
never have worn that. But then...
"To be fair, what has happened to me?" she looked down and, for once, didn't care what people thought about her.

After long enough, he shook his head and rose to his feet. With an impatient hand, he gestured the waiting students back to their respective tables. Time for his much anticipated speech - much anticipated because he knew they all hoped it would be over sooner rather than later.
"Good evening, Hogwarts staff and students. As we enjoy this final feast from our house elves, let us take a moment to acknowledge our Slytherin brethren for winning the Quidditch cup and House Cup this year. This is starting to become a habit, I think. I know many of you put in a lot of excellent effort toward earning house points this term, and your house very much appreciates your work. In fact, Lord Borr would like to invite the top earner in each house to the Ministry of Magic for a special tour. Let's give a hand to Kurumi Hollingberry, Sierra Greingoth, Eino Uronen, and Penny Laughgood."
He waited for any clapping to subside before continuing. "As you know, this is an exciting time as we're heading into summer and new adventures and no more classes, but it is also a time for change and reflection as we say good bye to old friends and professors. To all of you, I bid you so long and good luck. Hogwarts will always be a sanctuary and hall of learning, no matter where you go in life."
It seemed as if they had a larger number than usual graduating this term, but every term felt like that to him. The longer he was here, the more students he saw leave. Sad, really, to always be the one staying.
"For those of you who were privy to the happenings this term, let me assure you that all those who suffered from a ghost pirate personas have been given a clean bill of health, and we have fully removed the treasure hunting imposters to the Ministry for processing. Hogwarts is secure once again, although I believe we will relocate the ship to a suitable cave in order to allow those spirits to rest in peace."
And hopefully never to return? "Last, we have many good things to look forward to next term, not the least of which will be the removal of our Ministry cohorts. I'm sure you're looking forward to having additional staff members next term. In addition, Lord Borr has required that we offer... dance classes." Ugly face. He was not a happy Tatertot. "He suggested Mr. Stryker might be interested in taking on that position."
Dance classes. Whew. Insanity. "Now... tuck in and enjoy the meal with a tip of the hat to the house elves again. Safe travels and all that business. And if we could leave off with the histrionics and dramatic declarations, it would do wonders for my digestion."

Well, at least the girls that he had to drag across the hall will decrease this time. Hopefully, their dance class next term won't require them to wear dress robes. Oh how he hates those clothing. After Tate ended his speech, delicious food appeared in front of him. "Finally!" the boy exclaimed grabbing his utensils. But before he could put the food in his mouth, he caught another drama coming from the far end of their house table.
MORE DANCING?!?!?!?!
"Great." she said, sarcastically,
"That's just what everyone needs. More lessons." she sighed. Well, perhaps it'll be fun...
FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!! Aurora was going to start filling her plate when...

He really felt like he just had the floor ripped out from under him. He never saw this coming and he felt sick because he knew that he should have. It must have been obvious, after all.
Monty was ignoring him and that's what hurt most of all. He was used to having her think he was childish, but this was something else altogether. He was now apparently being too immature to acknowledge.
But then quite suddenly, as his anger grew he found himself wanting to yell at her, to grab her and force her to pay attention. Didn't she understand? She is his everything.
He was more than hurt, he was truly and irreversebly destroyed.
Happy. Happy with Aaron Anderson. The Slytherin Quidditch Captain. Iris Beaumont, Head Girl and Aaron Anderson, Quidditch Captain.
And what was he? Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
Iris Beaumont didn't care for him. It was and always will be all about Aaron Anderson.
Anderson, who was now looking at him with a furiously calm expression. Anderson, who was asking him what he was going to do about all this. Daring him, challenging him.
Jimbo glared as his anger peaked. He should have left right away. He shouldn't have allowed himself to get so worked up. But there it was. Maybe his way of dealing wasn't very good but he loves Iris Beaumont and if it weren't for Aaron Anderson, Jimbo knew he would have been the one that she was about to marry.
And so, Jimbo Farley punched Aaron Anderson.
With all his anger, sadness and regret, he punched the Quidditch Captain.
It should have felt amazing. It should have made him feel better, but he didn't have space for happiness within his utter depression.
His fist was bleeding. And Anderson's face must have been too.
Jimbo didn't realize when his eyes began watering. He stared at Anderson's fiance with a cold expression, betrayed only by his red eyes.
"Forget you, Iris Beaumont."
Leaving everything destroyed behind him, he left the Great Hall.
Aurora looked on as the scene played out. There was nothing she could do and yet all she wanted was to scream at Jimbo for ruining the beautiful moment that ended her first year at Hogwarts. She
knew he'd try to find a way to between Aaron and Iris, from the first moment she had seen him talk to Iris. She clenched her fists as she watched, tears coming to her eyes.

Plonk. Isabelle fainted right there at the Slytherin table from the sight of blood.
Aurora gasped as a girl fainted and ran over to her,
"Are you alright!" she yelled, bending down to help her up.

Aurora didn't try to take the mask, she was just staring, her eyes slowly filling up as she clenched her teeth, trying her hardest not to shout. For all her general arrogance and confidence, all she really was was a scared little twelve year old girl, trying to have a great time at the ending to a very difficult year.
She would not cry. She would not cry.
She would not cry. She'd cried too many times this year.
"I knew he'd ruin it. When he walked in I-... he was... I hate him." she croaked. She looked to Iris,
"And I can't imagine how Iris is going to react..." Jimbo had said those four, incredibly hurtful words...
A tear escaped Aurora's eye... then another. And suddenly she was crying rather silently. All she'd wanted was to have a lovely ending to her year; the rest of it had been difficult.
Really difficult. And especially now, with Kryspin possibly on his deathbed, her parents on the verge of killing eachother and one of her old best friends refusing to return letters after a particularly heated fight, all she needed was a celebration to lift her spirits up and HE HAD RUINED IT!!!
