Presley grinned as Philip expressed surprise at her comment. "That's exactly what I'm saying. That's why you would be a great teacher. Because most almost-seveth years wouldn't think about something like that. They'd be so excited to be at the top, they wouldn't spare a second for the little ones who have just as much potential." Didn't he see? He could be a great teacher. He could reason, and make people understand. "And thank you. Thanks for saying that stuff about me. But I wasn't fishing for compliments. I'm trying to make you understand, and it's not really coming across, I don't think. I think you should talk to Vindictus about which NEWTs you need to become a Hogwarts professor, and try for those next year. Then after you graduate, apply to be a professor. And I suggest you have a couple of chat's with Tate next year too, so he know's what you're working toward, and can help you out. Besides, you always want you future employer to like you as a person. And this will show him that you're a good worker, and you'll set a goal and work to achieve it." Presley listed out the steps she would take were she in Philip's position. She wasn't even sure if he wanted to be a teacher, but the same principle applied to every job that you could get after Hogwarts.
