When he thought of the teachers he had had during the last 6 years of his stay, images of brilliant, talented, skilled and extremely powerful wizards and witches appeared in his mind. When he tried to picture himself among them, his image stood out, as if it didn't belong. ''No, Presley, to teach at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you need to be.. Special.'' He said simply.
Presley started to say "but you are special, everyone is in their own way," but she stopped. In her experience, trying to convince someone of thier worth if they didn't want to believe it was pretty much a waste of time.
"You should at least try," she said instead.
"You might be surprised. I, for one, think you would make an excellent teacher. I mean, look at this, you're talking to a younger student like an equal. As if what I have to say is important to you. That's a wonderful teaching quality." Philip was smart, and kind, and Pres didn't know much else about him, but every time they'd talked he;d made her feel important. To the point where she knew he knew more than her, but he was allowing her to try, instead of just saying "no. That's wrong, this is how it really is." Presley really hated when teachers did that, or any adults for that matter.
