"Why?" Dallin asked curiously, shifting a little so that he was facing her. He realized that there was probably a simple reason for her to like it, but he thought he'd ask anyway, just in case. Ellie had a tendency to catch him by surprise a lot, so who knew what she was going to say. When she asked about his, he shrugged, returning his gaze to her eyes. "Light blue." The words came out almost on their own and he hurried to cover them up, "Like the ocean." Pause. Oh, there's no use. "And your eyes."

Feeling her looking at him, he looked away from the roof. This is it. "Yeah," he whispered. "I guess it is." He looked at the table, swallowing a sudden lump in his throat.
