Her stomach tied in knots thinking about what might have happened while Sierra was walking around as her. Probably best not to think about that. Her eyes glanced at the cupcake still sitting in its box. She had wanted to give it to him after the Championship match, but the Hufflepuff had been very elusive. Kurumi merely nodded at Nika's statement.
"I suppose..." she giggled. "To be perfectly honest, I really do not feel that much different from when I was sitting here as a first year, other than being a little taller." She wasn't entirely sure what to expect as a forth year, but she had learned that you really shouldn't go into any term at Hogwarts with expectations about how things will be. The castle always proved you wrong and threw you a bludger when you were expecting a snitch. Merlin, she was using Quidditch analogies now. Selina would be proud. "I'll be as ready as I can be, with cookies and all."
She returned to scanning the table and finally found the pitcher of pumpkin juice. Yay!
"You have any plans for the summer?"
Nika took another sip from her water, except this time much smaller than the first. Now that she thought about what Kurumi said the more it applied to herself as well. Did she even feel that different being a second year? The only real difference was that she's able to find her classes a bit faster than last term, but even now she still gets lost in the school. Nika's been telling herself all term that being a second year is so much better than being a little first year. Others mistook her as a first year several times, but really only she could tell the real difference. It wasn't all that different at all. Other than having her hair dyed so that it wasn't brown anymore nothing really had changed.
"Yeah, I don't feel much different either," She quietly agreed.
"Good," Nika replied with a smile,
"Because if you didn't have cookies then I think all of Hogwarts would be disappointed." Merlin those sweet treats are good.
"Me? Eerm... Not really. I guess I'm going to try and talk to my sister and hang out with her a bit, but other than that nothing really." She might end up visiting a friend or two like last term, but that was all up to how her sister would react to their "bonding".
"What about you? What are you're plans?" She was sure Kurumi had some sort of trip planned out for the holiday. She was so popular among the students that she was bound to go to someone's house or vice versa.
