It did hurt, a fair bit... so she would be grateful not to have to deal with it any longer, but she could if she wanted to... pain wasn't an unfamiliar sensation to her. He couldn't quite contain the small smile that touched the corners of his lips. "That, is no longer much of a threat." Given what they had already done to the room, dropping the roof would just be another minor notch. No, next time they would have to get creative.
Letting out a slow breath, he turned his wand in his hand a few times, trying to think of random, creative ways to offer for his destruction should he screw the spell up. Several rather nasty hexes and curses came to mind that he would not blame her for using if something went wrong, and all of a sudden the roof coming down looked a whole lot of a better alternative. "Alright. Here goes nothing." With another slow breath, he raised his wand and gently touched it against the broken rib. All effort and thought went into getting the intention and incantation exactly right, a slight fear rushing through him as 'Brackium Emendo' left his lips.
If it didn't work, well things were sure to get interesting.
