He knew it was something she found difficult to do. He had even encouraged her to do it out of fairness to Carter. He realized she getting upset again."I guess it didn't go so swimmingly then." he remarked, cautiously. Jai carefully took her hand that held the fork and took the fork from her fingers. He felt sympathetic toward the salad she was assaulting.

"Caroline, you can tell me what happened." he said softly, setting the fork down.
