He saw her give him a smile. Ok then. She didn't need a hug. He did though. But he wasn't going to ask for one. He had hoped she wanted one so he could get one back. Obviously not though. His Mom always hugged him when he was sad. And now noone wanted to. Which kind of made him sadder.
He didn't act on anything, so the poor excuse of a smile vanished as quickly as it had appeared. Instead, she bit her lip and nodded. Personally, the sick feeling she felt was constant and unrelated to food. Though, even thinking of it made it worse. So...if she must talk to Conan, could they have a new subject, please?
Ellie cast a sideways glance at the second year and sighed again.
"When did you start carrying your wand around?" She was proud of him, regardless of the lack of expression on her face. Last she remembered, he hadn't seen the point in carrying it around. Hogwarts was all tricks and mirrors to him.
