On the other hand the fact that he had gone to Lafay for advice so far made it pretty natural. He had seen that woman smile only once and that was a very little one which lasted about...maybe an instant. Eh....whatever...this was no Lafay, this was Hadley so concentrate!!!
Nodding, the Gryffindor boy smiled back at the Arithmancy Professor ''Thank you, professor.'' then he approached the desk and chose one of the seats there to sit down. The closest one to him. ''I...'' he began looking down at the floor for a moment or so. He was still not sure of sharing that yet a part of him still insisted that it was necessary to do so. ''...have a problem. Don't misunderstand me. I haven't come here to demand you to solve it for me. I prefer to deal with my own...problems. But...i think i need some advice because it gets harder and harder to deal with every day. I know, for this kind of...things, i am supposed to talk to my Head of House instead of disturbing you but...she is not really available these days. Well...at least i can't seem to find her anywhere.''
*blink, blink* Noticing the sixth year's hesitancy, Josephina was actually a bit taken back. Joshua Carter, since she'd known him, had always seem so forward and open. So confident and sure of himself. This was a whole new side of him. Advice though? She could do that; it did seem as though more students seemed to be coming to her for advice this term than before. Something she supposed could be attributed to the fact that she was still there. "Advice..." She said, speaking quietly. "Fair enough. I don't mind. So what is it that is troubling you?" Because she couldn't even offer options if he didn't speak his mind; something she already knew he was capable of.
