Lara was really enjoying sitting in that bench watching students passing by. However, the Slytherin started to feel a bit bored sitting all by herself. She hoped she asked one of her friends to come with her. She thought of going back to the common room to see who'd like to come along.
Anyway,The third year wasn't even finished with her plan when she heard someone saying her name. She turned to see who was it and….tada! It was her friend Samira. Well, Lara thinks Samira is her friend but she doesn't know if Samira thinks the same thing. Let's say Lara might have annoyed Samira once 0_o.
However, that didn't stop Lara from grinning "Hi Samira!" she said "Yeah, it's been awhile!" she nodded. It's how they are in the same school yet in the same house and they don't get to see each other much, "Please have a seat!" Lara motioned towards the spot next to her as she scooted to leave room for Samira. She could use some company here.
Samira couldn't help but grin at Lara's enthusiasm, and nodded in agreement. It was a wonder how they didn't see each other more often. Granted, Samira didn't really go out much in the cold. But it was warming up now, so she's been taking walks outside more often now.
She gave a nod of thanks and slid onto the bench, next to Lara.
"So..." Samira leaned back in her seat, stretching out her legs before her.
"How's life treating you?" Pretty standard question. It is usually a conversation starter, no? And they haven't talked since...since...the train ride, was it? It seemed like so long ago, and now they were almost through another term. Oh, how time flies...
