An Unfortunate Goodbye
I had to make sure they trusted me. I could not let the Death Eaters have control of Hogwarts. Voldemort has to trust me. For that to happen, I have to kill Albus Dumbledore.
He stands in front f me, disarmed and defenseless. He looks in to my eyes, and I remember out previous conversation. I
have to kill him. I have to save Draco's soul, and make sure Dumbledore's death is peaceful and painless. But still, I hesitate.
As if he can read my thoughts, Dumbledore speaks, just two words, "Severus please." To the others around me I'm sure it sounds like he is begging for mercy. Only I know the truth; he is begging for me to kill him. I raise my arm and point my wand at Dumbledore, "Avada Kedavra."
A jet of green light shot out of my wand and hit him on the chest. Hogwarts' noble Headmaster fell backwards off the Astronomy Tower, dead.
