Why did it feel to the boy like he hadn't seen her in AGES?! He feared she might've left the school and gone home or something. But she hadn't… she was still here! Without realizing it, the boy grinned, rolling up the comic book in his right hand and using his left to sit up on the stone bench. "Well, isn't this a lovely surprise," he teased, raising his eyebrows at the girl.

Before she could the title, though, the comic book (as Ruby now realized) was snatched away and rolled up. Well, of course it was a comic book, it was obvious that Brae couldn't read a novel or anything. Plus, comic books were full of pictures, right? No words, perfect for the Goofball.

"Yes, it's me, have you forgotten what I look like?" She answered as he said her name. Making herself more comfortable and still sitting on Brae's legs, Ruby reached over and grabbed the comic book from his hands. "Lovely surprise? If you say so," She said with a snort as she perused the pictures in his comic book. Wrinkling her nose in dislike, she gave the book back; she did not like spiders or men who pretended to be spiders. "So. Didja miss me and my evil ways?" She said suddenly, grinning at Brae.
