Though right now her main concern was getting back to the office without raising suspicion from Damien... he would probably kill her if he knew she had failed.
"Mmm I'm fine... I think I'm ok," she said after a short while. She wasn't cold, just a little shaken, and still quite sore. But she could deal with that, the main wasn't severe. She would manage. She'd experienced worse.. he he.
Emily put her arms out to the floor, trying to steady herself and sit up with Brad's help.
Once she began to try and sit up he didn't stop her. One she'd already suffered enough from him that day without having to deal with him going all nurse on him. So he helped her, with his arm around her waist he moved so he could help her sit on the somehow rather beaten floor. After another moment and he was sure she could sit on her own he removed his arm and moved so he was sat opposite her, close enough to jump to her aid if she suddenly lost her strength but not to close to crowd her.
"You fought brilliantly" He told her smiling, Brad turned his head to pick up his wand and stowed it in his jumper pocket. Turning back he adjusted the jacket so it covered more of Emily and looked in her eyes to see if there was any lasting damage. He was stalling for time, after a pause he sat back and sighed. Suppose it was time to talk...
"Sorry again..." He said quietly looking at the floor. He picked up a piece of rubble and bounced it in his hand.
"I suppose this gives cause for a drink?" He asked stopping the rock and looking up again.
