She sniffled her nose a little trying to keep herself as calm as possible and also trying to hold in her hurt at how he had treated her earlier. That one conversation made her feel like such a stupid little girl. But as hurt as she was it had shed a serious light on the true state of their relationship, she was finally put in her place in their entire relationship. He was the Big Strong Knight who everyone in the kingdom cooed for and she was the Pauper's cousin who lived three villages over. What made her even think that her name was something of importance to him? That was what her anger was coming from, her own stupidity.
Then his eyes cast down on her with a look of concern that made her want to turn away, "Nothing is wrong I just-" She stopped dead in her tracks as she looked down and saw her sketch pad clenched in his hand. W-what was it doing there? Had he seen her picture?
"W-where did you get that?" She asked nervously growing paler by the minute. Simon raised an eyebrow as Selina placed her hands on her hips, his attention fully on her words which were making him so confused as to what was going on rather then providing answers. "A few hours ago?" he repeated, hoping it would help, " I havent seen you before now to---" he spoke before he could think fully and breaking off when it registered in his mind what had happened. A few hours ago he had been Jacob and Jacob had been him. "Oh Merlin...I knew I should have warned you guys," he said with a sigh looking down somewhat ashamed. "Selina...that wasn't me."
Simon looked up at the girl's stuttered words, his gaze following Selina's own to the sketch pad in his hand that he had forgotten he was holding in the confusion. "I found it...when I was exploring the trophy room...just a half ago. I've been looking for you ever since since I had looking inside the cover for whose it was and found your name," he explained holding it out for her to take. The seventh year watching the younger lion's expression change from her reddened anger to her pale skin since she noticed his possession of the book.
