Pinching herself really, really hard? She had cursed her nails and ended up having a red patch on her Caroline's skin. And chopping onions? She ended up sending the knife flying across the kitchens.
Sighing, Kita backed up towards the wall behind her and slid down. She buried her face in her hands and thought about everything that had happened to her and how that made her feel.
As if on cue, the memory of last summer floated into her head and she immediately felt her heart growing... heavier? Was that right? As more and more of the memory unfolded, a prickling sensation came from the corner of her eyes. This was... weird. Kita had cried about this, yes, but... not at Hogwarts. No. And now, she was letting the tears flow down her face.
It was hard adjusting to being in girl's body but Jai tried. Cassie had him pull her hair back in a ponytail so he wouldn't mess with it as one her ground rules. As he walked along into the entrance hall, he saw Caroline, crying. He walked over to see if he could help.
"Hey, Caroline. You mind if I join you? You look like you need some company." he said only to hear Cassie's voice come out. That's when he remembered he looked like Cassie. It didn't matter, Caroline needed a friend.
