The first full clip of Tom Felton as sinister Dodge showing off the primate captivity lair for the apes to some of his friends in his upcoming thriller,
Rise of the Planet of the Apes was
released today. That can be seen below (
Please note: there is a bit of strong language and themes throughout).
Andy Serkis: The primate facility where Caesar now lives is revealed to be nothing less than a prison. Here, we see it for what it really is as Dodge, played by Tom Felton, who helps run the facility – Tom, of course starred as Draco in the Harry Potter films – gives some unauthorized visitors a look at the apes. As you’ll see, Caesar uses this to his advantage.
----------
Guy: More like a prison for hairy dudes.
Girl: They watch TV?
Dodge: We call it enrichment.
Girl: Oh my God.
Dodge: Don’t get too close.
Girl: This one scared me half to death.
Dodge: (nervous) Come on, let’s go. I spend too much time in here as it is. Come on.
Guy: Check out this guy.
Dodge: Hey, that one’s a pain in the a--. He thinks he’s special or something.
Dodge: (after guy is grabbed by ape) I told you not to get too close, man.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes, starring Tom Felton, James Franco, Andy Serkis, John Lithgow, and Freida Pinto, will hit theatres August 5, 2011.
