I was asked to come to see my sister in the tournament, for the second task. The night before my mum woke me and told me I needed to go see the headmaster. Why would he want to see me? What did he want with me?
When I arrived in the headmaster’s office, mum nudged me forward. There were three other students there, and I was the youngest. As I stood there, the English minister of magic explained that we were a part of the second task, and that we would not be harmed. I was frightened, and did not want to be a part of the task, but my mum nodded encouragingly, and I stepped forward.
The next thing I remember, I saw was the sky above me, and struggling to stay afloat in the water of the Black Lake. It was very cold, being February, and I don’t swim very well at all. Two male students who were in the lake with me, helped me get to shore. Immediately my sister was there hugging me, soothing me with words in French. The boy who had rescued me, forever stands in my heart as a memory of that day.
