Bradley watched Emily like a hawk, he watched as she sought and found her starting position and somehow decide which wand to use. He only had his trusty wand that chose him when he was eleven. Copying her example he bow'd at the waist before straightening up and rolling his shoulders back to get into the feel before he started.
He had to admire though how Emily seemed to hold herself, as if she wasn't new at this and had much practice. He felt rather....well he had a feeling this was going to be a very challenging match. Taking a deep breath and shouted;
"Stupefy" He shouted suddenly, ready for battle. He started off small, ready at any time to use more advanced spells.

Emily was poised, calm and ready. It was fine, she could handle this.. she could, couldn't she? A breif memory flitted through her mind, of the last summer she spent in her Fathers Lodge... all those nights, and early mornings, training and practicing her magic. She hated it at the time, btu was thankful for it now.
She took a deep breath. Brad was... going to be challenging. He was older than her, more experienced than her. As long as she lasted ten minutes, she would consider it a mild victory. Practice is as practice does.
Holding her
Fathers wand in Brads direction, she was ready, and anticipated his first move.
"Protego!", she said casting her shield which colided with his spell, sending the flashes of red light in various directions. She was quick on her feet, her mind racing...prepared.
"Reducto!"
