He had practiced the Bat-Bogey hex on his little brother and to his mother’s displeasure had perfected it. His wand still pointed at the Professor he considered the options.
With a swish he sent the Bat-Bogey hex towards her and immediately with another swish, ”Aguamenti.” He sent both; he hoped the latter would make the first look like some sort of freak accident. Professor Mackaroy was now being attacked by her bogies and drenched in water. The class roared with laughter and gasps. Whipping her wand feverously within seconds everything was normal about her bogies and her robes were dry.
Tobias stood there, bottom lip in between his teeth, eyes wide as saucers. His stomach was doing flip-flops, what would she do? The woman with the wart at the front of the room swallowed hard as she glared at the child. ”Mr. Welch.” The woman’s long fingers spun her wand tightly. ”Am I to believe that was an accident?” The woman tried hard to control her voice and demeanor.
Tobias would have to answer her. He searched for his voice and nerve.
