Talk about last night?! AHA, now it was his turn to ruin somethings for her! He nodded fiercely, saying "Yes, I think we should." Never mind he had no idea what happened the other night, he would figure out soon.

He eyed the shoes as Carter offered to mend them, and smirked for a moment before collecting himself. "No, thank you, Carter," he said politely with a smile. "I'll fix them myself." HA!

Carter shrugged. "It's a mistake easily made." he said in reference to her calling Evan a 'she'. "...with those mood swings of his. I swear, he's worse than you usually are."

"Oh good." he said relieved. At least she hadn't bolted when he said they should talk. He was worried that would happen. Or that he'd get slapped. Or both.

"We could go down to the kitchens and talk there. I assume you were heading to eat... so you must be hungry. We can have the pie I made..." ~~for Caroline~~ "...since I know you hate that I made one for Destiny once."

See! He was a good listener!
