It's the shortest movie in the bunch. They do leave stuff out, but not too bad. It's got a nice balance of humor throughout it as well. The way they handle Snape and his love for Lily is spectacular. I have to say, I was left wanting when it came to the death of some of the characters. You don't see it. Just a quick glimpse of them laying dead.
