So, since he was already writing he decided to write one to her as well. But, he had to have a reason for her to come.
"Is there a House Elf nearby?" he called out. He then heard a loud crack and an Elf appeared.
"Isa here master," squeaked a elf.
"Could you prepare a picnic basket please?" Rafe asked politely.
"Some sushi please, a couple of butterbeers...and perhaps some sandwhiches with A LOT of meat please?" "Of course sir," he answered then bowed and disappeared.
Rafe wrote asking her to accompany him for lunch. He folded the paper and made it into a paper
crane and enchanted it to fly and find Marilyn. As soon as the letter went soaring of in the air the house elf returned with a basket of food. Rafe thanked him and sent the elf on his way.
Marilyn received Rafe's beautifully constructed crane and came immediately. She knew it was a mistake, the blonde was still angry with him...but like moths to flames, she could not stay away.
For the occasion, she'd decided on a simple hunter green sundress and matching flats. Marilyn didn't want to seem like she was trying to look good for him, even thought that was exactly what was happening. Her hair remained down, the curls more pronounced. She knew Rafe liked it that way.
The Slytherin neared the tapestry and took a deep breath.
This was a bad idea...
