Draco was causally lounging on the couch with the Daily Prophet in his hands. He looked up from the paper and smiled at his wife, who was currently folding laundry. "You know, it's a wonder how we ended up together."

Hermione raised an eyebrow in disbelief, "What?"

Draco let out a small chuckle as he shook his head "I've always admired you, but I never thought we'd end up like this."

Hermione put down the last pair of socks into the pile and walked over to the couch-- and her husband, "I'm glad we ended up like this."

"Me too."
