"Sierra," she started and her eyes only widened even more, trying to stuff the cookies in her pockets even more so that their precious, innocent ears wouldn't be influenced by this!
"Hufflepuffs aren't OBJECTS, Sierra! We can't just use them!" Did she not realize how she was her very own Hufflepuff before she got sorted? "Excuse me, madame," Lola said very royally, "would you like to become our friend and as a friend?--you humbly decree to let us use abuse you and share your little pretty map with us!"
Much better.
LE GASP.
Lola wondered if it had been her own tricks but she embraced the girl. "I'm Lola, darling," she uncurled her tongue and smiled.
THE MAP.
EEEEEEEEEE.
Lola felt FIERCE. SHE FELT STRONG. But wha? "Psst. Sierra. Huffie-Friend!" It looked as if they'd already known it, but she was utterly confused.
...
"It's blinking."
Harper observed the second girl next, a grin now forming on her face. She was a little different, this one. She caught the word 'abuse' used lightly and very fast, but she had already agreed. Ah, well. Hopefully they didn't mean it.
And she wasn't getting led to her own sacrifice. "Oh, I'm Harper." she wondered briefly why Lola had pronounced her name with such deliberation, when she was distracted by what the girl said next.
She looked down at the map again and saw that it was indeed blinking.
"Er - yeah, it's definitely blinking." she nodded in quick agreement. Was it blinking...in order? And how come all the coin images were surrounded by a certain color when it blinked, eh? EH EH EH?
Nope, she was confused.

A Ravenclaw? "I don't know. All I have is a green bag filled with two coins, and Lola has a silver bag filled with--two coins, I'm guessing?" she answered. "We have to use them and a map to get to the next location."
She eyed the Pygmy Puff on the girl's shoulder but said nothing else for now.
Oh, look at that. A map in...what was the Slytherin girl's name again? Umm, anyway, ...in her hand. Sierra edged closer to the girl and peered at the map.
Gee, Lola. Way to approach the Puffer in a manner that'll make her want to stick around. Sierra rolled her eyes at no one in general. "What she means," Sierra spoke up, "is that we can provide the coins if you can provide the map." Which she so obviously was providing seeing as she now had it in her hands, and there were blinking...coins? Yes, coins! Anyway, blinking coins all over it.
"So a silver coin...with a yellow tail...lights up first," she pointed out. She peered into her green bag again. "Nope. I don't have one." She looked up at Lola. "Aaron said to pay up. Do you have that coin?" She tapped the map again, pointing out the silver coin with a yellow tail. "Maybe we should, you know...ask Lockhart if there's anything we can buy with it?"
Harper looked from one girl to the other, an eyebrow raised.
"Ooookay, then." They were both different in her eyes. Sierra seemed a bit...snappy-er. Or whatever.
"Well, seeing as I do have a map, and you guys have those coins, that's all that matters." She tried to smile at Sierra, but had an odd feeling that the girl wouldn't even be talking to Harper if she had not had a map. Meh, oh well. She would try to make it pleasant.
Harper peered at the map again as Sierra talked about it. Coins. She wished she had coins. She liked, no - LOVED coins. Coins coins coins coins coins.
She looked from one girl to the next again, biting her lip.
"Do you have to put that colored coin in the fountain first or something?" she asked, gesturing toward the first coin that lit up.
