Eino listened attentively, then quickly raised his hand to share his own muggle magic experience. "I have seen a man, and he holds a doll, and then the doll talks to the man!" He didn't know how the doll could talk, but Eino had tried to find a spell to recreate the animated talking doll but always in vain. He had seen this man several times in different street corners. The doll was pretty scary, but Eino was always fascinated by the fact that it could talk!

So yes, what Eino was talking about wasn't really magic, it was ventriloquism but it took talent and it was an illusion. He really had no idea what it was but he was sure it was magical.
