The lights flip off all at once and two spot lights start shooting around the theatre from the seats to the stage. Then all goes dark again. With a flash of light and a small explosion, Professor Cerulean appears on the stage and is illuminated by a spot light. To her left there is another spot light but no one stands there.
With a flick of her arms, the black cape lands behind her shoulders and trails behind her. She glances to her left at the empty spotlight and then out at the crowd with a smile and instantly all of the different colored spotlights illuminate the different stations on the stage.
Professor Cerulean flicks her right hand and two solid gold rings about a foot in diameter appear in each hand. She clinks the two rings together to show that they are solid. Then she holds them over her head and twists them slightly against each other and magically one of the rings is now hooked inside of the others. She holds a ring in each corner trying to get them apart to show her simple magic trick.
With a smile, she starts the lesson,
"Welcome to A Night of Magic hosted by History of Magic and Muggle Studies. It seems that Professor Zookura is missing" she pauses glancing over at the empty spotlight. "But the show must go on!" she says with a friendly wink out at the crowd as she drops one of the rings from her left hand to let the rings dangle connected.
"As you can probably guess, we are going to be learning about Muggle Magic tonite..." she flicks her right hand and the rings disappear. "So let's start tonite's lesson with a question...please remember to raise your hand especially since we are in such a large room..." she says spreading her arms out in front of her motioning at the size of the room.
"Can anyone tell me what the difference between wizard magic and muggle magic is?" she asks glancing out at the crowd.
OOC: Alright class has officially started so that means all chatting needs to end. I'll give you a little while to give your answers. Please try to be as nice and creative as you would like. Try to only give one answer and not to repeat answers already given. Also remember to raise your hand before you answer.
