Louisa snatched it and awkwardly extended her hands to Kita. "I made this for you." She smiled uncertainly. Would Kita see it as a weird move? Would she like the flowers? They weren't that beautiful but Louisa knew that they meant A LOT.

In Divination.

SPOILER!!: the flowers and their meanings XD
Arborvitae:Everlasting friendship.
Balm: Social sympathy.
Snowdrop: Consolation or hope.

"I was really touched by your story the other day. And I wanted you to know that you have friends who love you and care about you. You don't have to know your real parents either, the ones who brought you up are the ones who matter." Taking a paused, she went on, "Don't let that thing take away your cheerfulness." There, the speech she practiced finally was out! Phew.
Kita was still confused. Louisa was leading her over to an unknown, strange spot and Kita didn't know whether to be shocked or excited. So confused it was. Ok, it wasn't like Louisa was taking her out of Hogwarts... then she would have been scared. Imagine if the new place didn't have any chocolate?

Shaking her head, Kita watched as Louisa pointed her wand at a particular spot on the ground and muttered a spell that made a bunch of flowers appear out of thin air. Or something like that. "Wow!" she breathed out, her eyes fixated on the white and red flowers which seemed to be growing green grass on it as she talked, "No wonder you're a Ravenclaw, that was brilliant!"

Wait... it was for her? Kita's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. Up until this moment, she had thought that the best gift anyone could give her was a box of chocolates and maybe some clothes. But now, one of the best gifts she's ever received would have to be these beautiful flowers. Which is why Kita took the flowers and continued to stare at them in awe. Oh right, manners!

But this was one of those rare moments when she didn't know what to say. The girl was actually speechless for once. She looked up at Louisa, a mixed expression crossing her face; one of sadness, happiness and love for her friend. The mixed feelings only grew and grew as she heard what Louisa had to say. The third year was so sweet, Kita was starting to wonder whether the Sorting Hat had considered placing her in the house of the loyal.

Then there was that prickling sensation coming from the corners of her eyes.

And then it was just too much for her. A tear rolled down the older girl's cheek. For the first time in her life, Kita didn't care whether she cried or not. She rushed over to Louisa and threw her arms around her, giving the girl her biggest, squeeziest hugs. Because honestly, the girl deserved it. "Thanks you so much," she whispered, letting go, "It's nice to know that i have people here for me. And if you need anything... anything at all... i'm here." A smile formed on her face.
