"Hello Professor Lafay." Carter said as he entered the Potion's classroom. He looked around for a seat. He spotted Caroline and Kita already sitting together. He smiled and waved in their direction before looking around for another seat. Luckily, his friend Jai was sitting on his own. He walked over and joined him at his table.
Jai looked when someone sat next to him.

Walking into the room she did a quick scan to see who was there. Hmm, Ev was with Josh, she didn't see Destiny, there was... Cousin It Caroline, NOT sitting with Carter, and there was Carter, sitting with someone else. Well now, she knew who she was sitting with.
Heading towards Carter she smiled at the professor. "Hello Professor, beautiful day isn't it." Yep, she was in a happy mood today, might as well show it since that didn't happen too often. Putting her bag on the table once she got to her destination she slid onto the seat right next to Carter. "Hey there, can you guys use another partner?" Looking over at the guy sitting across from Carter she smiled at him. He looked familiar to her for some reason. "Hi, I'm Marie." Hopefully he didn't mind her sitting there cuz well, she wasn't moving now. The only reason she would move would be if Matty came to class and she knew he wasn't going to be in class so she was staying put.
Jai nodded,
"Yeah. We met in Charms class." He glanced at Carter and replied,
"If it's cool with Professor Lafay then sure.", carefully. He remembered the last encounter, small but intense. Jai looked away to his teacher when she began class and spoke no more.

He raised his hand after awhile scanning the ingredients list in his head and said,

Jai sat there with his friend and a the Slytherine blonde that seemed very friendly and nice but didn't seem to get on with another of his friends. He decided the quieter the better.
