Potions was one of Marie's favorite classes so she tried never to miss it. Besides, Lafay was her head of house, she didn't want to deal with her for skipping out on her class.

Cousin It Caroline, NOT sitting with Carter, and there was Carter, sitting with someone else. Well now, she knew who she was sitting with.
Heading towards Carter she smiled at the professor.
"Hello Professor, beautiful day isn't it." Yep, she was in a happy mood today, might as well show it since that didn't happen too often. Putting her bag on the table once she got to her destination she slid onto the seat right next to Carter.
"Hey there, can you guys use another partner?" Looking over at the guy sitting across from Carter she smiled at him. He looked familiar to her for some reason.
"Hi, I'm Marie." Hopefully he didn't mind her sitting there cuz well, she wasn't moving now. The only reason she would move would be if Matty came to class and she knew he wasn't going to be in class so she was staying put.
